I want to be honest about where I am. I’m still unable to work at full capacity due to ongoing medical issues, and recently while at work I fell and fractured my foot trying to sit on my saddle stool. I went back to the ER again on 12/17 due to pain and complications. I am currently under a doctor’s care and will be seeing an orthopedic doctor on Monday, which was the soonest appointment I could get. All of this has added additional challenges to my recovery and ability to work.

Because of this, I’ve fallen behind on bills—especially during the Christmas season—and it has been extremely heavy on me mentally and emotionally. Having to constantly ask for help has taken a toll on me, and I find myself often asking God, “Why is this happening to me?” Some days I feel overwhelmed and discouraged to the point of wanting to give up everything.

Even in those moments, I’m choosing to hold on to my faith and trust that God is still with me, even when I don’t understand the process. I’m believing that He will make a way and that this season will not break me.
